70th Anniversary Edition YZ Models

Yamaha is celebrating 70 years of motorsports excellence with four special edition models, available now:

  • YZ125 70th Anniversary Edition

  • YZ250 70th Anniversary Edition

  • YZ250F 70th Anniversary Edition

  • YZ450F 70th Anniversary Edition

These bikes feature a modern interpretation of Yamaha’s legendary white and red speed block livery, combined with aggressive YZ styling for a head-turning look, both on the track and in the pits.

YZ450F — Yamaha's Flagship Motocross Machine

The extensively updated 2026 YZ450F continues to set the standard in motocross performance. Riders can expect:

  • 450cc Liquid-Cooled DOHC 4-Stroke Engine

  • Updated KYB Suspension with Speed-Sensitive Damping

  • Industry-First ECU Lock Function — Prevent unauthorized start-up through the Yamaha Power Tuner app

  • Refined Ergonomics and Rideability

YZ125 Two-Stroke Updates

For those who love the sound and feel of a two-stroke, the updated YZ125 and YZ125 70th Anniversary Edition feature:

  • Revised intake design

  • Updated carburetion and CDI settings

  • Smoother, more linear power delivery

  • Improved performance in varying conditions

Cross Country & Trail Models

The 2026 YZ450FX Cross Country model adds:

  • New 4-Mode Traction Control, fully adjustable through the Yamaha Power Tuner app

  • ECU Lock Function across all four-stroke competition models, including the YZ250F, YZ450F, YZ250FX, YZ450FX, WR250F, and WR450F
